Here's what worked, and what didn't
The perfect spot for anyone keen on exploring. The staff greeted us with smiles every day, thumbs up to the amazing receptionist!
But the shared bathroom experience was a bit of a downer. Cramped and not always clean.

The stay was fairly nice; nothing to complain about. I stayed here 1 night and liked it. The hotel was in an awesome location short walk to a valley, tourist attractions and the Central Station. Local fast food option Famous Burger was 5 minutes walk away.

The room was clean and cozy with the same bed included. Its location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Beurs van Berlage was great.

Warm room, that also was cosy with the same bed. The cost was £ 118. The location was amazing and brilliant, not far from pubs, shops and restaurants, Amsterdam central train station and the shop. Gastropub Famous Burger was 100 metres away from the place.

We visited the Anne Frank House and checked out the Van Gogh Museum. The location was awesome, and we were close to everything. The price was decent for what we wanted, and someone cleaned up every day, a plus!
The shared bathroom situation was challenging. It felt cramped and not very clean at times. It would have been better if the facilities were in better shape.

Best location and cozy vibes!
We had a really nice stay! Mario was super chill and helped us with our bags. The twin room was comfy with great views. Central location made it easy to get everywhere. The shared kitchen was handy for quick meals! Just wish the bathroom had more privacy. A solid spot!

The shared kitchen offers a solid spot for quick meals. The location undeniably places you within walking distance of key areas in the city.
Rooms sit on the smaller side, with little room to breathe or move around comfortably. The shared bathroom situation leans towards the cramped, and cleanliness appears to be an ongoing issue that some might find hard to overlook. The lack of WiFi signal in certain areas can be a hassle for anyone needing to stay connected .

Charming location, but room for improvement
I booked a Single Room with Shared Bathroom for two nights. The vibrant neighborhood was alive with nearby shops and restaurants. The room was quite narrow, and the shared bathroom could have used better upkeep, which detracted from my overall experience. The host was cute and.

I booked a Single Room with Shared Bathroom at Tamara for two nights. The location was spot on, just a short 7-minute walk to Centraal Station. It made getting around the city so easy. I loved the vibrant neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by with a lively atmosphere. The room itself left much to be desired. It was very narrow. I could almost touch both walls at the same time. The shared bathroom felt cramped, and it had basic cleanliness issues that could definitely use some attention. The shower head looked like it needed a good scrubbing. My bed was old and shaky, made me a bit anxious about its sturdiness. On the brighter side, the host was really pleasant and cute. I liked the fact that I could get out and explore the nightlife safely, even late at night. Still, the issues with the bathroom and the bed were great. Improvements in cleanliness and room stability would really enhance the stay.
